Jussi Nyrölä
Founder and CIO
Mr. Nyrölä is the CIO of Talomon Capital.​ Mr. Nyrölä started his private equity career at EQT, a European private equity firm with €200+bn in assets where he worked for the TMT team for 11 years based both in Munich and in Helsinki.
Mr. Nyrölä has co-founded two technology startups as a Founding Chairman, including Titanbay, a fintech private markets platform enabling sophisticated private investors, private banks, and asset managers to access the private equity asset class.
Mr. Nyrölä started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London and holds a M.Sc. degree in Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics.
Andrew Sugden
Quantitative Analyst, Trader
Mr. Sugden is a Quantitative Analyst and Trader at Talomon Capital.
Previously, Mr. Sugden worked at Societe Generale running tailored market data analytics whilst automating workflows and performing key performance analysis.
Mr. Sugden started his career at Equinox Energy Capital, a London-based Private Equity firm.
Mr. Sugden holds a B.Sc. in Business Mathematics and Statistics from the London School of Economics.
Jakob Antoniak
Partner, Analyst
Mr. Antoniak is a Partner at Talomon Capital.

Prior to joining Talomon, Mr. Antoniak was a private equity investor at Letterone Capital, a c.$30bn family office based in London, where he sourced and executed investments across technology, media and telecoms in Europe.
​
Prior to that, he was a private equity investor at TDR Capital, a €20bn fund based in London, where he did control buyout investments across Europe and North America.
​
Mr. Antoniak started his career as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan in London in the technology, media, and telecoms team.
​
Mr. Antoniak holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Finance from Cass Business School in London.
Daniel Courtneidge
Investor Relations Director
Mr. Courtneidge is responsible for Investor Relations at Talomon Capital.
Previously, Mr. Courtneidge worked at Portland Hill based in London for 3 years, where he was in Investor Relations focusing on asset raising. Portland Hill is an investment management firm managing $1bn in September 2017 across funds focusing on Equity Long Short and Event Driven investment opportunities.
Mr. Courtneidge holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Nottingham, and a M.Sc. in Economic History from the London School of Economics.
Peter Grigorey
COO
Mr. Grigorey is the COO of Talomon Capital.
He has over 30 years of experience in the asset management space, and most notably built the operational infrastructure of Brevan Howard while serving as the firm’s Global Head of Operations for 11 years with $41bn in assets under management in 2014.
Mr. Grigorey started his career as a custodian and has also worked at Salomon Brothers, Citi Asset Management, Cognis Capital and ITI Asset Management in COO and Head of Operations roles.

John O'Donnell
Investment Advisory Board Member
Mr. O’Donnell is an Investment Advisory Board Member at Talomon.

Mr. O’Donnell serves as the Chief Investment Officer for the funds related exposure within the Seatankers Group, a Norwegian family office.
​
Previously he was the Chief Investment Officer of Tetral Investment Management (now known as Freemont Management), a Swiss family office, where he spent 15 years overseeing private and public market investments. He spent the prior decade as a fixed income proprietary trader across several investment banks.
​
Mr. O’Donnell holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, where he studied Finance and Psychology.
Armando Acosta
Investment Advisory Board Member
Mr. Acosta is an Investment Advisory Board Member at Talomon.
​
Mr. Acosta serves as a Managing Director at The Riverside Company with assets totalling over $13bn.
​
Previously, Mr. Acosta was a Managing Director at Aksia, where he specialized in constructing and advising on private equity and private credit portfolios. Prior to that, he spent 9 years at PineBridge Investments, with c.$150bn in AUM. He managed a diverse range of investment mandates, prominently in the private equity sphere, while actively contributing to fundraising and strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to PineBridge, Mr. Acosta spent over 15 years at TIAA-CREF which has $1.2 trillion in AUM. He helped build the company’s alternatives programme, pioneering a distressed strategy fund-of-funds and playing a pivotal role in private equity portfolio management and program expansion.

Mr. Acosta holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Katja Salovaara
Investment Advisory Board Member
Ms. Salovaara is an Investment Advisory Board Member at Talomon.

Ms. Salovaara serves as a Managing Director at the Five Arrows Multi Strategies (FAMS) platform at Rothschild & Co.
​
Before joining FAMS, Ms. Salovaara was a Senior Investment Officer for Private Equity at the New York City Retirement Systems, which managed c.$250bn.
Prior to that, she served as a Senior Private Equity Portfolio Manager at Ilmarinen, with assets totalling c.€58bn. Ms. Salovaara also worked in private equity at the Shell UK Pension Fund and Pantheon Ventures in London.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Helsinki and is a CFA charterholder.
Przemek Obloj
Investment Advisory Board Member
Mr. Obloj is an Investment Advisory Board Member at Talomon.
​
Mr. Obloj serves as the Managing Partner and CIO at Blue Horizon Asset Management, with responsibility for the company’s growth capital and private equity business.
​
Previously, Mr. Obloj was Managing Director and Head of European Private Equity at PSP Investments, with assets totalling c.$240bn.
​
Mr. Obloj spent the prior 15 years with private equity firms CVC Capital Partners and EQT Partners. Mr. Obloj started his career at McKinsey & Company.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master's in Finance from the Warsaw School of Economics.
